Silicon Valley Comic Con, now in its second time, overran the San Jose Convention Centre in San Jose, Calif. this weekend providing with it a large number of attendees, a large number of costumed heroes and, well, a few robots, too.
The function was shaped by citizen technophile – as well as famous Apple co-founder – Steve Wozniak and comic booklet maven Stan Lee back 2016 as a North California expansion of the considerable celebration that occurs down in NORTH PARK each year.
While Silicon Valley Comic Con (SVCC, for brief) stocks its roots using its southern cousin, this show is just a bit different in the sense that it is smaller in size and presence and, rather than focusing only on pop-culture, expands an invitation to local technical companies to partake in the three-day event.
Compared to that end Sony and Facebook both acted as sponsors to the function offering demos and giveaway gift ideas to attendees, as the convention floor itself performed web host to the Country wide Aeronautics and Space Supervision (NASA).
If game games consoles, comic literature, cosplayers and previous astronauts are your landscape, this is actually the destination to be. But if you overlooked this year’s event, don’t stress – we scoured the show floor to find a few of the most interesting places of the show and put together them in gallery form for your observing pleasure.
