If content from third-party verification that verifies facts is not classified as true, Instagram reduces distribution by removing it from the Explore and Hashtag sites. Labels attached to posts can be seen in their feeds, profiles, stories and instant messages to people all over the world

Instagram uses “Image Matching” technology to detect other cases of incorrect content and to apply labels. This reduces the spread of misinformation. This label also includes links to fact-checking reviews, as well as links to articles from authentic and authentic sources that show why the publication is fake.
