The Sooper Junoon Concert Makes History as The Most Iconic Live Act Ever Seen in Pakistan!

It is no doubt that Peek Freans has, once again, exceeded expectations with the Sooper Junoon Concert and given the people of Karachi an evening where they were left both dazzled and awed by legends and newcomers alike. LMKT and Microsoft launch AppFactory to empower Pakistani graduates with in-demand digital skills
Local technology company, LMKT, has joined forces with Microsoft to launch the first APPFactory (Apprenticeship Factory) in Pakistan, which will develop the digital skills, coding capabilities and employability of young ICT graduates. Forming part of its new LMKT SPARK programme, the AppFactory will recruit up to 30 apprentices every six months, and place them alongside senior software technicians to work on real-world industry projects. After graduating from the programme, apprentices will be able to fully design and implement modern software solutions, and have access to jobs through both LMKT and the Microsoft Partner Network. Samsung Galaxy A7 ‘Triple Camera Phone’ & J4+, J6+ Series Launched in Pakistan

UberPITCH broadens road to opportunity for startups
Uber, the global smartphone app that seamlessly connects riders to drivers, has announced launch of UberPITCH 2018, a nationwide competition to select a startup with the most compelling idea. This announcement was made at an event attended by Uber’s management, thought leaders from various industries and entrepreneurs. Powered by Ignite and in collaboration with the National Incubation Centres (NIC), UberPITCH will see selected startups guided by experienced trainers, as they have their ideas judged by investors and mentors during the course of the competition. “UberPITCH is our way of supporting young startups in the countries we operate in,” said Anthony le Roux, Regional General Manager of Middle East & Africa at Uber. “A thriving startup environment is representation of a youth ready to take the reigns of tomorrow.
