Enviro Appliances – a leading manufacturer of a diverse range of home appliances recently sponsored a Cooking Competition at Kinnaird College, Department of Food and Nutrition. The event was attended by more than 100 students, where 20 students from the department participated in the competition. The winners were presented with Enviro appliances as gifts.

In order to facilitate the cooking competition all appliances, such as microwaves, food processors and blenders etc., to be used by the students were provided by Enviro. The students of Kinnaird College worked hard to show off their cookery skills during the day-long competition. Using the latest technology incorporated in Enviro products, students worked around all aspects of food preparation and presentation.

Mr. Tauseef Zafar, Product Manager for Enviro Kitchen and Small Domestic Appliances (SDA) said “We have so many excellent young cooks in this country who are eager to learn, grow, and advance their careers, as well as cook on a national stage.”

“This competition is a celebration of the younger generation of aspiring, talented chefs. By sponsoring such events Enviro is helping to train these chefs and in turn restaurants in Pakistan will raise their standards. I am proud of all of them and may the best chef win!”
